Name: Afternoon Book Discussion at the Powell Library
Date: March 11, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
The Afternoon Book Discussion group will be meeting at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 11th in the Homesteader Hall Meeting Room at the Park County Fairgrounds to discuss 'The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat' by Oliver Sacks.

More about this nonfiction book:
Oliver Sacks recounts the stories of patients lost in the bizarre, apparently inescapable world of neurological disorders. These are case studies of people who have lost their memories and with them the greater part of their pasts; who are no longer able to recognize people or common objects; whose limbs have become alien; who are afflicted and yet are gifted with uncanny artistic or mathematical talents. In Dr. Sacks' splendid and sympathetic telling, each tale is a unique and deeply human study of life struggling against incredible adversity.

To join the Afternoon Book Discussion Group, please ask for a copy at the circulation desk after February 11th or check it out on Libby!
