Event Description:
In honor of Archaeology Awareness Month, the Meeteetse Museum is working on a special research project. We want to know how big bison of the Big Horn Basin were. For the last 3 Saturdays in September, bring your bison skulls to get them measured and photographed. Staff will record measurements from the bison skull, you take home your skull! Once we've processed our research, you'll learn how your bison skull compares to other bison skulls in the Big Horn Basin.
