Name: All Ages Crafternoon at the Powell Library
Date: October 3, 2025
Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
Who is ready to do some Flower Pounding for October's All Ages Crafternoon?
And yes this is the name of this dying technique -- -- we will be creating our own floral designs by pounding a flower with a hammer to transfer the natural pigment of the flower onto a flour sack towel!!

If your interested in attending, please bring a hammer and/or rubber mallet at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 3rd to the Park County Fairgrounds. Please note that this will be a loud craft so please feel free to also bring some ear protection.

We will have flower cuttings available with special thanks to the City of Powell who is donating the flowers they are removing from the city's flower beds. But if you have a particular flower you are found of growing at home, however, please feel free to bring flower cuttings.

The address for the Park County Fairgrounds is 655 E. 5th St.

All supplies will be provided for those who attend this free program open to all ages.
