Event Description:
Come join us for the unveiling of the new outdoor StoryWalk at Homesteader Park near the state rest area in Powell on Friday, December 1st from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The StoryWalk features 18 signposts that will display pages from children's books. The first children's book to be displayed is 'Daddy Lions Tea Party' by Mark Sperring.
This first book was purchased by the Powell Friends of the Library and the Park County Library Foundation funded he signposts. Thanks also needs to be given to the City of Powell for their generous support of this project.
*** The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. StoryWalk is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Fergusen.
