The third annual Yellowstone Songwriter Festival will be held in downtown Cody September 7 – 9, 2023. This festival showcases the art of songwriting for three days in Cody. This year’s line-up includes five Nashville hit songwriters and eighteen rising stars who will perform 24 unique shows in six of Cody’s premier restaurants, bars, and theaters.
Although the line-up is impressive, it is not so much who will be at the festival as it is what these talented musicians have created! You probably listen to hit songs ever chance you get, but this festival gives you the opportunity to hear the inspirations behind those songs from the original artists who created the songs – The Songwriters!
James Dean Hicks along with Erin Enderlin, Frank Myers, Lisa Carver and Brett Jones will perform their songs and tell the stories behind those songs creating a songwriter experience like no other festival. This combined group of songwriters have charted more than 20 #1 hits and hundreds of Billboard’s Top Ten Hits for performing artists like Blake Shelton, Jewel, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, John Michael Montgomery, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Lonestar, Jason Aldean, Montgomery Gentry, Lee Ann Womack and many more!
In addition to the hit songwriter line-up, eighteen rising star songwriters from Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Dakota, Texas, and British Columbia will also join the festival. These original artists will perform 24 shows in the bars, cafes, restaurants, and theaters of downtown Cody including Chamberlin Inn, Silver Dollar Bar, Proprietress, The Station, Cody Theater, Blanka Tatanka and Cody Auditorium. Each day we will have multiple shows happening at once with 2-3 artists sharing the stage together to create a unique show, the streets of downtown Cody will be exploding with talent.”
All we’re missing is you. We would like to invite you to beautiful Cody, Wyoming and we look forward to sharing this incredible weekend of songwriting, creativity and music with you.
There’s something for everyone. See you in September!
