Event Description:
The audition is a try-out, or an opportunity to be selected to be in the show. Pick up your audition applications at Little Elf or The Jam Spot in Powell and Cody Newsstand or Back to Basics in Cody. Application deadline is Friday, March 6th.
We suggest that in order to give you the best opportunity to advance in the show:
1) Come to the audition “show ready” – in costume, with props, music/vocals memorized, etc.
2) Keep in mind the judging criteria
a. Talent – 50%
b. Showmanship – 20%
c. Stage Appearance – 20%
d. Crowd Appeal – 10%
3) Chose a performance and/or music appropriate for a family show
As much as we would love to have everyone who wants to participate be a part of the show, due to time constraints and depending on the number of acts trying out, some performances may not be selected for the final show…
