307 First is a new way of thinking local. We think of Wyoming as one big community, a community where we’re all in this together. If we are active in supporting our in-state businesses, healthcare providers, contractors, etc., we can increase our tax base, hire employees, and otherwise make Wyoming a better place to live, work, and play.
307 First is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to enhance the economic and social viability of local communities by promoting the sustainable growth of: Wyoming businesses and services; local economies; and Wyoming’s tax base.
We’re going to accomplish that mission in a few different ways. We are starting a public campaign to encourage Wyoming residents to buy local and support the Wyoming-owned businesses in their communities. We will also be working with the Wyoming Legislature to improve the economic climate for existing and future Wyoming-owned businesses.
