Date: April 9, 2013
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM MDT
Event Description:

31 Years as a Red Cross Disaster Services Volunteer photo

Find out why Charlotte Hardy volunteers for Red Cross Disaster Services. She works locally, as well as wherever Red Cross sends her. For example, after Katrina (2005), she spent 6 weeks in Louisiana driving an emergency response vehicle, delivering food, serving meals, and holding hands of those who appreciated a sympathetic shoulder.

She also served after hurricanes Charley (2004) and Ivan (2004), and helped folks of Southern Pennsylvania recover from floods, mold infestations, and gas line explosions. Find out if similar volunteer service is something for you. Sure to be an interesting evening!
