Event Description:
Big Horn Basin families are invited to an April 13 Spring Carnival from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Homesteader Park in Powell. Plenty of entertainment is planned for adults & kids. In addition to all the usual carnival games ( ring-toss, balloon darts. cake walk, etc. ), a helicopter will land at noon for photo opportunities, and horse carriage rides will be available the entire day. All the usual carnival food fare - hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn & soda - will be sold. Admission is free; tickets cost 50 cents apiece. The Spring Carnival is sponsered by the Northwest College Enactus Team. Proceeds will be used to help fund the team's trip to Seattle to participate in a regional competition.
