Come to the Heart of It

Are you curious about the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center (HMIC) being built at the location of the historic WWII Japanese-American Relocation Center? Come to this program to learn more about the center?s progress and consider becoming a volunteer! If you enjoy history and have some free time to spare, the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation needs volunteers for the August 20 opening and subsequent operation of the exciting new center. A wide range of volunteer opportunities exist for those of young adult age on up. Volunteers will eventually be trained and instructed on site, with additional orientations and scheduled training sessions to occur. Participants are asked to bring a notebook to this program and a calendar to determine scheduling of training.
