Event Description:
FREE day with a special presentation at the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center !! Join us on Saturday, September 22nd for free admission all day at the interpretive center, including an afternoon talk given by Interim Executive Director Dakota Russell! This is a great opportunity to explore the center and to see our special exhibit, "The Mountain Was Our Secret" featuring the artwork of Heart Mountain incarceree Estelle Ishigo. This year's theme of Smithsonian Magazine's Museum Day is "Women Making History" so in conjunction with our special exhibit, we will also have a program at 1:00pm about Estelle and her husband Arthur, and their epic story.
