Event Description:

This year’s pilgrimage event will include a multigenerational arts festival, reception and dinner, remarks and panel discussion with U.S. Senator Alan  K. Simpson (retired) and former U.S. Secretary of Transportation Norman Y. Mineta. This event will bring in and encourage the participation of younger generations to continue the efforts of the Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation. Three documentary films will be featured on Friday and Saturday. Each is different in their message, reminding the audience of the World War II internment of 120,000 Japa­nese and Japanese Americans while asking the question: “Could this happen again?” For more information about the schedule of events visit us at www.HeartMountain.org.
