Event Description:
Join the Homesteader Museum Saturday, July 13 for the “Homegrown Bus Tour.” Guided by local historian and farmer Beryl Churchill and Homesteader Museum Curator/Director Rowene Weems, the tour includes stops at Gluten-Free Oats, Shoshone River Farms, the UW Experimental Station, a Sunflower Farm and much more. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about some of the new innovations in agribusiness that are happening locally.
The bus will depart the Homesteader Museum at 9:00 a.m. and the tour will last approximately 4 ½ hours. Facilities are available on the bus; water and snacks will also be provided.
