Event Description:

FREE Event 10AM-1PM

Join Friends of a Legacy (FOAL) for a FREE picnic in the McCullough Peaks. Learn about the famous McCullough Peaks wild horses and the work that FOAL does.  Donation based wild mustang tours will be offered on a first-come first-served basis on the day of the event.  Local author, and McCullough Peaks horse expert, Phyllis Preator, will give a presentation, and have copies of her book, Wyoming’s McCullough Peaks Mustangs for sale. Abel Guevara, BLM Wildlife Biologist, will discuss his role in managing the herd.

Parking is limited, so commute with a friend! Bring a sack brunch, a lawn chair, sunscreen and a rain jacket.  Drinks will be provided.

Purchases and donations will be processed by cash and check only on the day of the event.

Meet at the Wild Horse Interpretive trail/FOAL Kiosk
28 Miles east of Cody on HWY 14-16-20.
