Event Description:
Since 2006, curator, artist, and researcher, Rebecca Berru-Davis has been engaged in an art exhibition project with Peruvian women artists who live in the shantytowns outside of Lima, Peru. The exhibition called "Picturing Paradise" draws attention to the beauty the women create through their fabric pictures, despite the challenging circumstances of their lives.
Join us for a reception Monday, September 17 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm with a presentation by Rebecca Berru-Davis
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be available.
SinClair Gallery is located in the Orendorff Administration Building at 231 West Sixth Street.
Regular gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday.
