Event Description:
Recycling household waste is but one small way each person can help "Keep the Planet Green" and will be the focus of a free program on May 22, at 7 pm, in the meeting room of the Powell Branch Library.
Mary Jo Decker, Plant Manager of the Powell Valley Recycling Center, will talk about items used daily in our homes that can be recycled, such as #1 and #2 plastics, aluminum cans, office paper, magazines, newspapers, cardboard, metal cans, and glass.
This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Powell Branch Library. Refreshments will be served.
