Event Description:
Severe weather spotters needed! Spotters are a vital source of information, and your report could help save lives. National Weather Service (NWS) meteorologists incorporate real-time reports from our volunteer spotter network in the severe weather warning decision process. Please join us for a multi-media training session that will teach you to identify severe storm characteristics, how and what to report to the NWS in Riverton, Wyoming. This training is free and open to everyone. Registration is not required, but notification of intent to attend would be appreciated; 754-6469. Groups welcome.
