Join Margie Grant, PhD as she shares her experience living in the bush area of Alaska, working with rural youth in a multicultural environment. This program shares elements of her dissertation, Strategies for Educational Success in Rural Alaska.
Marjorie Grant has 13 years of education employment in rural Alaska filling positions in teaching and special education, and has been a principal and acting superintendent. Using personal experience and proven techniques, she will advise how one can prepare for cultural change and successful adaptation in a third-world country environment.
