Event Description:
Libby Lozano will be teaching folks how to make tamales on Saturday, May 4th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the PCSD#1 Cottage, 328 East Third Street, Powell. Class costs are $20 for instruction, plus $30 for ingredient costs. Lozano purchased special corn husks and chili from the American Southwest for her students to use in this class. There are special directions requiring some inportant pre-class preparations of meat, as well as a list of pots & utensils that it would be helpful to bring from home.
