Name:
Telling the Stories of The Other: Reclaiming Authentic Voices
Date:
September 26, 2019
Time:
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM MDT
Event Description:
When we tell the story of America, who is the storyteller? Robert Azzi argues that history is written by those in power, even when the stories belong to the powerless. Azzi works to rediscover the voices of the exploited, the colonized, and the radicals willing to push back against the status quo. Join us for a conversation about a new American history, one in which those who have been silenced are given permission to narrate.
