Event Description:
When did that become part of the United States? Author and Northwest College Professor Rex Myers explores the changing borders of the United States from 1783 to 1917. Using maps and stories, he pieces together the quilt of land that has become the modern United States as it exists today. Learn how and why the United States added additional land to the original 1783 borders. Fascinating! Everyone is welcome to this free program.
