Name:
"The People Outside the Fence" Presentation Heart Mountain Interpretive Center
Date:
February 23, 2019
Time:
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM MST
Event Description:
Our annual Winter Program Series is back with more fantastic events! This year's second presentation explores the people outside the fence.
Heart Mountain employed dozens of white staff and administrators, from all over the United States, to work—and sometimes even live—in the camp. Why did they come here, and how did they feel about working in a place like this? Discover more about the lives of these men and women in this program.
The Winter Program Series is an annual series of presentations that take place throughout January, February, and March.
All events in this series are included with museum admission. Visitors can also purchase a "season pass" for $9 at the interpretive center, which covers admission for all programs. Heart Mountain Wyoming Foundation members go free.
