Ever wonder just how horse fertility is regulated? Come learn about the steps that are taken to effectively manage wild horse    populations in the McCullough Peaks Herd. Jay Kirkpatrick, PhD, is a  renowned expert on horse fertility and for 34 years he has researched non-lethal, humane fertility control methods for wild horses and other wildlife. He’s best known for his work on the wild horses of Assateague, MD, bison of Yellowstone National Park, and elephants in the Republic of South Africa.

A free reception prior to the program, sponsored by Friends of a Legacy (FOAL), will be held 5-7 PM in the NWC DeWitt Student Center.
