Name: Winter Author Festival

Event Description:

You are invited to the 2nd Annual Winter Author Fest sponsored by the Park County Library Foundation on Saturday, February 4th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Cody Library.

The festival will begin at 10:00 a.m. with writing workshops from local authors. At 11:00 a.m., individual authors will read passages from their books. The Keynote Speaker, Mark Spragg, will give his address at 1:00 p.m. and will be available for a meet-and-greets afterwards. Between 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., local authors will be available to meet at their tables where they will showcase their books and be available for books signings. 

There will be a silent auction with more than 31 items donated from local Powell businesses and authors. Silent auction items will be on display at the Powell and Cody Libraries in the days leading up to February 4th. Winners will be announced at the end of the day of the event. All proceeds raised will benefit the Powell Library Project.
